Women's Football Association Of Indonesia
Women's Football Association of Indonesia ( id, Asosiasi Sepak Bola Wanita Indonesia; abbreviated as ASBWI) is the governing body for women's association football in Indonesia. Since 2017, this organization has been recognized as member of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). This association is one of three associations under PSSI, besides the Indonesia Futsal Federation (FFI) and the Indonesian Coaches Association. History The association was founded on 7 December 2017 at their first congress in Palembang, South Sumatra. It was founded when PSSI Chairman Edy Rahmayadi and General Secretary Ratu Tisha led the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). Papat Yunisal, a former women's national team player in the 80s, was elected as the first president. Yunisal was replaced by North Barito regent, Nadalsyah, in 2021. Antara is an Indonesian news agency organized as a statutory corporation. It is the country's national news agency, supplying news reports to many domestic media organizations. It is the only organization authorized to distribute news materials created by foreign news agencies. The news agency was founded in 1937, when the country was still a colony in the Dutch Empire, by independence activists dissatisfied with the lack of local coverage by the Dutch-owned Aneta news agency. Antara's operation was absorbed into the Dōmei Tsushin news network following invasion by the Japanese in 1942. Its staff played a key role in the broadcast of Indonesia's proclamation of independence and assumed control of the Dōmei facilities in the region at the end of the war. The Football Association of Indonesia ( id, Persatuan Sepakbola Seluruh Indonesia; 'All-Indonesian Football Association'; abbreviated as PSSI) is the governing body of football in Indonesia. It was founded on 19 April 1930, fifteen years before Indonesian independence. PSSI joined the Asian Football Confederation in 1954 and FIFA in 1952. The Indonesia Futsal Federation ( id, Federasi Futsal Indonesia; abbreviated as FFI) is the governing body of futsal in Indonesia and a member association of Indonesia's football governing body, PSSI. It was founded on 22 June 2014. FFI regulates the activities of the Indonesian men's and women's national futsal teams. It also runs the Indonesian Professional Futsal League competition for both men and women. Edy Rahmayadi
Edy Rahmayadi (born 10 March 1961) is an Indonesian politician and former general who is the governor of North Sumatra. He is a former lieutenant general in the Indonesian Army, commanding Kostrad between 2015 and 2018. Additionally, he was also chairman of PSSI between 2016 and 2019. A 1985 graduate of the Indonesian Military Academy, he spent 25 years serving in Kodam I/Bukit Barisan and several more years outside before becoming the military region's commander and later Kostrad commander.
