''Wolfsbane Save the World'' is the fourth studio album by the British heavy metal band Wolfsbane, released in 2012. This was the first album of new material by Wolfsbane since their self-titled album in 1994, although they did record one new song for their 2011 EP ''Did It for the Money''. The album was available on the band's official website, as well as via the merchandise stand on the band's then-upcoming tour. Wolfsbane (band)
Wolfsbane are an English heavy metal band, active from 1984 to 1994, and again since 2010, following two brief reunions. To date, the band has released five studio albums, two live albums, two compilation albums, two EPs and three demos. Wolfsbane are now notable for being vocalist Blaze Bayley's band before he went on to replace Bruce Dickinson in Iron Maiden and then pursue a solo career. In addition to Bayley, the band's current lineup includes guitarist Jason "Jase" Edwards, bassist Jeff Hateley and drummer Steve Danger. History Initial career (19841994) Wolfsbane were formed in 1984 in Tamworth, Staffordshire, England. They signed to Def American records, and Rick Rubin produced their first album, '' Live Fast, Die Fast'', released in 1989. Hard rock or heavy rock is a heavier subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and Distortion (music), distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the Garage rock, garage, Psychedelic rock, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Blaze Bayley
Blaze Bayley (born Bayley Alexander Cooke, 29 May 1963) is an English heavy metal singer. He was the lead singer of Wolfsbane from 1984 to 1994 (and currently since 2010, following reunions in 2007 and 2009). He was also the lead singer of Iron Maiden from 1994 to 1999. Since then, he has pursued a solo career and has released eleven studio albums. Blaze was voted number 67 in Sweden Rock magazine's top 100 singers of all time. Early life Bayley was born Bayley Alexander Cooke in Birmingham on 29 May 1963. His main inspiration to be a singer was when he saw Ronnie James Dio perform live at Birmingham Odeon on Dio's "Holy Diver" tour. At the time, Bayley was working a night job as a hotel porter. Chris Catalyst
Chris Catalyst is a British rock guitarist, known for his work with the Sisters of Mercy, Ugly Kid Joe, Ginger Wildheart, Terrorvision, the Professionals, Mariachi El Bronx, the Scaramanga Six and his own band, Eureka Machines, as well as his more recent solo career. In 2022, he confirmed that he has been a 'Nameless Ghoul' that tours with the Swedish metal band Ghost. Career The Sisters of Mercy Catalyst joined the Sisters of Mercy as rhythm guitarist and backing singer in 2005. Despite collaborating with Andrew on the first new Sisters material in almost a decade, in 2019, frustrated with Eldritch's slow-paced work ethic, and becoming more busy and successful with his own projects, Catalyst stepped down from the band.
