''Whispers of Terror'' is a Big Finish Productions audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who''. Summary The Doctor and Peri find themselves in the Museum of Aural Antiquities, where every sound is stored for posterity – from the speeches of Visteen Krane to security service wire taps and interrogation tapes. But they also find an intruder, mysteriously changed recordings, and a dead body. Before long the Doctor realises that there is more going on than a simple break-in or murder. ''Doctor Who'' is a British science fiction television series broadcast by the BBC since 1963. The series depicts the adventures of a Time Lord called the Doctor, an extraterrestrial being who appears to be human. The Doctor explores the universe in a time-travelling space ship called the TARDIS. ''The Land of the Dead'' is a Big Finish Productions audio drama based on the long-running British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who''. Plot Hovering just above Alaska in 1964, the TARDIS picks up some strange energy emissions of a type the Doctor and Nyssa cannot make head nor tail of. Before they can try, they are forced to dematerialise to avoid a collision with a light aircraft. But the TARDIS is apparently following a scent and takes them to the same place thirty years later. Lisa Bowerman
Lisa Bowerman (born 1 February 1962) is a British actress. She is best known for portraying Sandra Mute, the paramedic, in the BBC One medical drama '' Casualty'', in the first two series (1986–1987). She also starred as Professor Bernice Summerfield in many '' Doctor Who'' Big Finish Productions audio plays, as well as directing many series for the company. Career Bowerman trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and was a regular in the first two series of BBC medical drama '' Casualty'' playing Sandra Mute, the show's first female paramedic. Peter Miles (29 August 1928 – February 2018) was an English actor. He played many television roles including several different characters in ''Z-Cars'' and '' Doctor Who''.
