"When the Rain Comes" is a song by English girl group Sugababes. The song was written by the trio, alongside Iain James and George Moore, the latter of whom also produced the track. Released on 15 September 2023, "When the Rain Comes" marks the group's first new release since their long-withheld reunion album, '' The Lost Tapes'' (2022); the single marked the first and only release under record label BMG. The Sugababes are an English girl group composed of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhán Donaghy. The lineup changed three times before returning to the original lineup in 2011. Formed in 1998 by Ron Tom, the manager of All Saints, Sugababes released their debut album, '' One Touch,'' through London Records in November 2000. It achieved moderate success and produced the top-ten single " Overload". In 2001, Donaghy was replaced by Heidi Range. With Range, Sugababes released three multi-platinum albums: '' Angels with Dirty Faces'' (2002), '' Three'' (2003), and '' Taller in More Ways'' (2005). The UK Singles Sales Chart is a weekly record chart compiled by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on behalf of the British record industry. The UK Singles Sales Chart differs from the UK Singles Chart (also known as the Official Singles Chart) in that it counts "physical" sales only (including downloads), whereas the Official Chart also counts streaming. ''One Touch'' is the debut studio album by British girl group Sugababes. It was released by London Records in the UK on 27 November 2000, and the following month in most other European territories. The trio worked with producer Cameron McVey on the majority of the album, which produced four singles; " Overload", " New Year", " Run for Cover", and " Soul Sound".
