''What's Rock and Roll'' is the second studio album by English indie band the Reytons, self-released on 20 January 2023. The album debuted atop the UK Albums Chart, marking a rare occasion of an unsigned band topping the album chart. Commercial performance The album debuted at number 1 in the UK Albums Chart on 27 January 2023. The album sold 12,252 copies to debut at the top and was released in 32 different formats including 16 different CD versions, five different cassettes and a deluxe podcast edition. The Reytons
The Reytons are an English indie-rock band from Rotherham. Band members include frontman Jonny Yerrell, lead guitarist Joe O'Brien, bass player Lee Holland and drummer Jamie Todd. They formed in 2017. They released their debut album, ''Kids Off the Estate'', on 12 November 2021. It debuted at number eleven on the UK Albums Chart. The second album, '' What's Rock and Roll?'', was released on 20 January 2023. On 27 January 2023, it was announced that their album ''What's Rock and Roll?'' had topped the UK Albums Chart, making it the Reytons' first chart-topping album. The O2 Ritz (originally known as The Ritz) is a live music venue on Whitworth Street West in Manchester, England. Built as a dance hall in 1927, it was designated a Grade II listed building in 1994. The venue is notable for its sprung dance floor. The Ritz was taken over by HMV in 2011 and given a £2 million refurbishment.
