''Westwind'' was a 1975-1976 young adult television action drama on the NBC Saturday morning line up. The show chronicled the adventures of the Andrews family as they sailed the ocean on their yacht. It ran for one season with a total of 13 episodes produced. Premise The show was named for the twin masted yacht, ''Westwind''. Christian Nyby (September 1, 1913 – September 17, 1993) was an American television and film director and editor. As an editor, he had seventeen feature film credits from 1943 to 1952, including ''The Big Sleep (1946 film), The Big Sleep'' (1946) and ''Red River (1948 film), Red River'' (1948). From 1953 to 1975 he was a prolific director of episodes in many television series, including ''Gunsmoke'' and ''Wagon Train''. ''Run, Joe, Run'' was a Saturday-morning television program that aired on NBC from 1974 to 1975. It centered on Joe, a German Shepherd in the military's K-9 corps, and his master, Sergeant Will Corey (played by Arch Whiting). Van Zandt Jarvis Williams (February 27, 1934 – November 28, 2016) was an American actor best known for his leading role as Kenny Madison in both Warner Bros. television detective series '' Bourbon Street Beat'' (1959–1960) and its sequel, '' Surfside 6'' (1960–1962). He teamed for one season with Bruce Lee as his partner Kato, in the television series '' The Green Hornet'', which was broadcast during the 1966–1967 season.
