Welcome To The Freakshow (Hinder Album)
''Welcome to the Freakshow'' is the fourth studio album by American rock band Hinder. Released on December 4, 2012 by Republic Records, it is the band's successor to ''All American Nightmare'', released in 2010. It is the final studio album to feature founding vocalist Austin John Winkler. The album debuted at number 65 on the ''Billboard'' 200, with 12,000 copies sold. It has sold 60,000 copies in the US as of May 2015. Production On August 9, 2012, Hinder announced, via Facebook and Twitter, that their new album will be titled ''Welcome to the Freakshow''. The album was released on December 4, 2012. Hinder released the first single, "Save Me," on August 30. According to Artistdirect, the group, in addition to typical rock music, incorporated elements of pop and country to the album's sound. Hinder is an American Rock music, rock band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formed in 2001 by former lead singer Austin John Winkler, guitarist Joe "Blower" Garvey, drummer Cody Hanson, with bass player Cole Parker being recruited in 2002 during the recording of their debut EP ''Far from Close''. Upon Parker's exit from the group in 2003, Hinder recruited bassist Mike Rodden and former guitarist Mark King to join the band in 2004. Robert Carl Ludwig (born December 11, 1944), is a retired American mastering engineer. He mastered recordings on all the major recording formats for all the major record labels, and on projects by more than 1,300 artists, including Led Zeppelin, Lou Reed, Metallica, Queen, Jimi Hendrix, Bryan Ferry, Paul McCartney, Nirvana, Bruce Springsteen, Tool and Daft Punk, with more than 3,000 credits. Cody Hanson
Cody Hanson (born May 24, 1982) is an American musician and record producer. He is the drummer and one of the founding members in the Oklahoma based rock band Hinder and co-owns the production company Back Lounge Productions with bandmate Marshal Dutton. Hanson has also provided drum work in the country group Drankmore. Early life Hanson was born in Plano, Texas but relocated to Jones, Oklahoma with his family when he was one year old. At the age of 12, Hanson received his first drum kit as a Christmas gift. Austin John Winkler (born October 25, 1981) is an American musician best known for being the original and former lead vocalist of the rock band Hinder. Since his departure from Hinder, he has continued his career as a solo artist under the name Austin John.
