Welcome To Momoland
''Welcome to Momoland'' is the debut extended play by South Korean girl group Momoland. It was released by Duble Kick Entertainment and distributed by Kakao M on November 10, 2016. For the extended play, Momoland worked with a variety of producers including Duble Sidekick, Tenzo & Tasco, Jake K, Yokan and Full8loom. ''Welcome to Momoland'' consists of six tracks including the group's debut single "Jjan! Koong! Kwang!" and its instrumental and four other new tracks. The album was crowdfunded to cover the cost for producing the physical format. To promote the extended play, the group performed on several South Korean music show programs, such as ''M Countdown'' and ''Inkigayo''. Commercially, the album peaked at number twenty-eight on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart. The show's winners Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy (singer), Nancy served as the original members. Their debut mini album ''Welcome to Momoland'' was released on November 10, 2016. In 2017, Momoland became a nine-member group when Daisy and Taeha joined as members. In 2019, Taeha and Yeonwoo left the group, while Daisy departed in 2020. The group disbanded on February 14, 2023. ''Simply K-Pop'' (; also known as ''Simply K-pop Con-Tour'' or ''Simply Con-tour'') is a South Korean music television program broadcast by Arirang TV. Originally called ''The M-Wave'', the show's title was changed to ''Wave K'' in 2011, and renamed again in 2012 to ''Simply K-Pop''. It airs live worldwide every Friday at 1:00PM KST, and is broadcast from Arirang Tower in Seocho-dong, Seoul. Currently hosted by Lee Dae-hwi of AB6IX, the show features K-pop stars who perform on stage and interact with the audience throughout each episode. It was previously available for online streaming via Viki with multilingual subtitles until May 2024—it was also previously available on DramaFever until the site shut down in 2018.
