Welcome To Eltingville
''Welcome to Eltingville'' is an American adult animated comedy pilot created by Evan Dorkin, as an adaptation of his comic book series '' Eltingville''. It premiered in the United States on March 3, 2002, on Cartoon Network's late night programming block, Adult Swim, but was not picked up for a full series. ''Welcome to Eltingville'' takes place in Eltingville, Staten Island, and focuses on the lives of four teenage boys: Bill Dickey, Josh Levy, Pete DiNunzio and Jerry Stokes, all members of "The Eltingville Club", who have shared interests in comic books and science fiction, among other things. Evan Dorkin
Evan Dorkin (born April 20, 1965) is an American comics artist and cartoonist. His best known works are the comic books ''Milk and Cheese'' and ''Dork'', the latter of which features his comic '' Eltingville''. His comics often poke fun at fandom, even while making it clear that Dorkin is a fan himself. Dorkin also served as a writer on the Adult Swim animated series ''Space Ghost Coast to Coast'' from 1994 to 1999, and created a pilot for an ''Eltingville'' animated series for Adult Swim in 2002. Life and career Dorkin was born in Brooklyn, New York, and moved with his family to Staten Island when he was 13 years old. He grew up reading superhero comics (being loyal to Marvel over DC), '' Mad'' magazine, and humor titles by Archie Comics and Harvey Comics. Jason Harris Katz is an American voice actor and former television host. He was the host of the short-lived '' Double Dare 2000'' on Nickelodeon.
