''Wanted'' is the second studio album by Nigerian singer Wande Coal. It was released on 26 October 2015 through Black Diamond Entertainment. It serves as a follow-up to his debut, '' Mushin 2 Mo' Hits'' (2009). The album features a number of other artists including AKA, 2Face Idibia, Burna Boy, Maleek Berry, and Wizkid, along with production from J Fem, Xela, Maleek Berry, Major Bangz, Sarz, Da BeatFreakz, Legendury Beatz, and LeriQ. Background ''Wanted'' is the first Wande Coal album in six years, and his first album since the dissolution of Mo' Hits, a record label founded by fellow Nigerian musicians Don Jazzy and D'banj, in 2011. In an interview with Vanguard, he revealed that he chose to work with Don Jazzy over D'banj due to their strong bond and Don Jazzy's role as a producer. Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe (born 18 October 1985), popularly known as Wande Coal, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. Early life Wande Coal was born on 18 October 1985 in Lagos Island, Lagos state, Nigeria, to Chief Ibukun Olufunto and Omolara Oluwayemisi Ojosipe. He is the first of two children. Education Wande Coal began his primary school education at Staff Nursery and Primary School Ijanikin , Lagos State, and later attended Federal Government College Lagos, Federal Government College ijanikin Lagos in Lagos State , for his secondary school education. The Headies 2016
The Headies 2016 was the 11th edition of The Headies. It was held on 22 December 2016 at the Eko Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. Themed "Think, Create, Recreate." The event was hosted by Adesua Etomi and Falz. The nominees were announced by the award's organizers in November 2016. Tekno was nominated for the Next Rated award, but ended up being disqualified due to his refusal to honour the category and support the campaign. Jazzman Olofin and Adewale Ayuba jointly performed the song "Raise the Roof". Aramide performed her song "Funmi Lowo" with assistance from Ras Kimono. The ceremony also featured additional performances from Falz, 2Baba, Seyi Shay and Flavour. The Headies (originally called the Hip Hop World Awards) are honors established in 2006 by ''Hip Hop World Magazine'' to recognize outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry.
