''Waiting for God'' is the self-titled debut studio album of Waiting for God, released in late 1994 by KMG. The album was re-issued as ''Quarter Inch Thick'' by Re-Constriction Records in 1996 with an expanded track listing featuring bonus remixes. Reception ''Aiding & Abetting'' gave ''Waiting for God'' a positive review, saying "there are plenty of diverse elements woven into this fabric" and "Daemon Cadman's lighter-than-air vocals mix well with the edgy guitars and sea of keyboards brought in by the rest of the band." ''Sonic Boom'' also praised Cadman's vocal prowess, saying "the steadfast vocal style and the music coupled together create a very unique sound that lacks any obvious evidence of outside musical influence that plagues many a new band." Scott Hefflon of ''Lollipop Magazine'' gave the album a more mixed review and criticized the material for being too dance oriented. Waiting for God was a Canadian goth- industrial band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, who recorded from 1994 to 1997. The band consisted of Daemon Cadman, Martin Myers, Greg Price and Steven Fairweather; lead singer Cadman's lyrics were often about her murdered brother, Jesse Cadman. Waiting For God released two albums, ''Quarter Inch Thick'' and ''Desipramine'', before breaking up. Christ Analogue is an American industrial rock group started in 1995 by frontman and producer Wade Alin. History Christ Analogue was devised in 1995 by programmer/vocalist Wade Alin. After Markus Von Prause joined on guitar, the duo debuted with the single "This Shall Not Breathe" in 1994 and was compared favorably to Sister Machine Gun. The 1996 release of their debut album, '' The Texture ov Despise'', earned Christ Analogue instant respect in the electronic/industrial music scene. Jedson Louis Simon (born February 27, 1964) is a Canadian musician. He was a member of supergroup Scar the Martyr and has been a member of numerous metal bands, including Front Line Assembly, Strapping Young Lad, Zimmers Hole, and TENET. He is currently a member of VIMIC. Biography Simon was born on February 27, 1964 in Victoria, British Columbia. He gained attention in the metal community with his third speed metal band Armoros, which was founded in 1985. Armoros disbanded in 1989 after two successful demos and an album. Collide is an American industrial music duo formed in Los Angeles in 1992, that has incorporated elements of trip hop, synthpop and music from the Middle East into their sound. The name comes from the 'collision' of musical styles, primarily the ethereal vocals provided by kaRIN and the electronic music provided by Statik.
