Vulcan, Son Of Giove
''Vulcan, Son of Jove'' () is a 1962 Italian fantasy-adventure film directed and co-written by Emimmo Salvi in his directorial debut. The film is also known as ''Vulcan, Son of Jupiter'' (American TV title). The film was partly shot in Iran. Plot summary Following a dispute between Jupiter and Mars the latter ascends to Earth. Together with Venus he instructs the Thracians how to erect a castle which is supposed to become more beautiful than Mount Olympus. Jupiter assigns Vulcan and Etna to find Mars. Eventually the Thracians capture Etna and torture her. Vulcan saves her life and incites the slaves of the Thracians into an uprising. Mars and Venus try to return to Olympus but Jupiter sends Vulcan back to Earth to be with Etna. Bella Cortez
Bella Cortez (born Alicia Paneque, also known as Bella Cortese) is a Cuban actress and dancer known for her work in Italian sword-and-sandal films of the 1960s. Career Alicia Paneque was spotted by an Italian film producer visiting Cuba. She accepted the proposal and moved to Italy. Her first release was Primo Zeglio's '' The Seven Revenges'' (1961). Cortez played niece to Orson Welles character and formed "an attractive pair of young lovers" with Luciano Marin in the international film '' The Tartars'' (1961). Amedeo Trilli (9 July 1906 – 30 November 1971) was an Italian film and television actor. Life and career Born in Ronciglione, Viterbo, at very young age Trilli worked as a circus artist, then in 1922 he studied performance at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia and later he started working on stage. He made his film debut in the early days of the sound films, and from the 1940s his presence on the big screen became continuous.
