Voyage Of The Damned
''Voyage of the Damned'' is a 1976 drama (film and television), drama film directed by Stuart Rosenberg, with an Ensemble cast, all-star cast featuring Faye Dunaway, Oskar Werner, Lee Grant, Max von Sydow, James Mason, Lynne Frederick and Malcolm McDowell. The story was inspired by actual events concerning the fate of the ocean liner carrying Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany, Germany to Cuba in 1939. Richard Amsel (December 4, 1947 – November 13, 1985) was an American illustrator and graphic designer. His career was brief but prolific, including film posters, album covers, and magazine covers. Samuel Wanamaker (born Samuel Wattenmacker; June 14, 1919 – December 18, 1993) was an American actor and director, whose career on stage and in film and television spanned five decades. He began his career on Broadway theatre, Broadway, but spent most of his professional life in the United Kingdom, where he emigrated after becoming fearful of being Hollywood blacklist, blacklisted in Hollywood due to his communist views in the 1950s.
