Võros
Võros ( Võro: ''võrokõsõq,'' pronounced , , ) are the indigenous inhabitants of historical Võromaa (''Vana Võromaa''), a region in Southeastern Estonia (Võru and Põlva Counties with parts extending into Valga and Tartu Counties). The term is particularly used by proponents of a regional identity. About 70,000 people live in historical Võromaa and many more identify as Võros although they live outside the territory, mostly in Tartu and Tallinn. Aaron Voros
Aaron Voros (born July 2, 1981) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. Voros played in the National Hockey League with the Minnesota Wild, New York Rangers and Anaheim Ducks between 2007 and 2011. He served two consecutive years as the team president of the NHL Players Association for the New York Rangers and one year for the Anaheim Ducks. Playing career Voros played amateur hockey in his hometown of Surrey, British Columbia with the Surrey Minor Hockey Association, also playing Nor-Wes Caps-Junior B of the PIJHL and Junior A with the Victoria Salsa of the BCHL. He was an 8th round draft pick by the New Jersey Devils in the 2001 NHL draft while playing for the Victoria Salsa. That summer he also received a full athletic hockey scholarship to the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where he was named to the CCHA All-Rookie team in his freshman year. Chris and Patrick Vörös (born August 20, 1993), known online as the Voros Twins or the Da Vinki Twins, are Hungarian Canadians, Hungarian Canadian Twin, identical twins known for being a professional wrestling tag team and Internet celebrity, social media personalities. They are best known for going viral on TikTok after mispronouncing Leonardo da Vinci's last name as "Da Vinki" along with their comedy videos. In 2020, they won the ECCW Tag Team Championship. Christina Alexandra Voros (born August 18, 1977) is an American cinematographer, director, and producer. Jerry Voros
Gerald J. Voros (May 13, 1930 – February 4, 2019) served as the Chairman of the International Committee of the Boy Scouts of America. Voros took part in four world jamborees and was head of the American delegation at the 1995 18th World Scout Jamboree in the Netherlands. He served as a member of the Inter-American Scout Foundation for six years and chaired the group responsible for the reception of the Baden-Powell Companions in New York City in 2002. A Korean War veteran and an ex- Marine, Voros started his career in journalism and public relations, joining the Pittsburgh public relations agency Ketchum Communications in 1966 after leaving advertising agency N.W.
