Volda Handball ''(also known as Volda Handballklubb)'' is a handball club from Volda Municipality in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. The women's team currently compete in Eliteserien, the top division since its promotion in 2022. Volda is the first ever team from Sunnmøre to qualify for the top division. REMA 1000-ligaen (women's Handball)
REMA 1000-ligaen is the premier women's professional handball league for Norwegian handball clubs. It is administered by the Norwegian Handball Federation, and the winners are recognized as Norwegian champions. It was established in 1967, and it is currently contested by fourteen teams. Larvik HK is the championship's most successful team with nineteen titles, followed by IL Vestar with nine and Vipers Kristiansand with seven. Currently the winner of the championship play-offs is granted a spot in the EHF Champions League's group stage. There are fourteen teams in the 2025/26 season, where Storhamar HE is the defending champion. No teams were relegated after Vipers Kristiansand went backrupt. Larvik Håndballklubb, is a professional women's handball club from Larvik, Norway. The club has won 36 titles total in both the Eliteserien (women's handball), Norwegian League and the Norwegian Women's Handball Cup, Norwegian Cup, and won the Women's EHF Champions League, EHF Champions League in 2011. History Larvik HK was founded in 1990 as a merger of the handball departments in the two clubs Larvik Turn & IF, Larvik Turn and Halsen IF, Halsen. They played in the top division since 1992/93. During their first year they were close to relegation, but managed to remain on top. Yuliya Andriychuk (; born 17 May 1992) is a Ukrainian handballer playing in the Turkish Women's Handball Super League for Ardeşen GSK. She played for Ukrainian national team. The sportswoman plays in the left back position. Byåsen Håndball Elite is the women's handball team of the Norwegian multi-sports club Byåsen IL based in Trondheim. The team plays in REMA 1000-ligaen, the top division in the country, since its promotion in 1982. The team's first success came as a third division club, when in 1980 it won the silver medal in the national cup. Ringkøbing Håndbold
Ringkøbing Håndbold (Ringkøbing Handball) is a Danish handball club from Ringkøbing. In the season 2023/24 the club played in the Danish Women's Handball League. When they played in the Danish 1st division, they reached the promotion play-off three times in a row in 2008/09, 2009/10 and 2010/11, but they did not manage to be promoted. In 2013 a week before the beginning of the 2013/2014 season, the top flight club Aalborg DH went bankrupt and was thus administratively relegated. Ringkøbing Håndbold were offered to take their place, which they accepted. Ringkøbing Håndbold played six seasons in the top flight before being relegated in 2018/2019 season. The next season promotion was just missed, when the club came second in the 1st division. Ballsportverein Sachsen Zwickau e. V. is a German women's handball team from Zwickau, Saxony. It plays in the Bundesliga.
