''Vol.2'' is a compilation album by American rock music, rock band Goo Goo Dolls, serving as the second volume to ''Greatest Hits Volume One: The Singles''. It consists of two discs: one, a CD with previously unreleased tracks, b-sides, rarities, new covers, fan favorites and live performances; the other, a DVD with 23 music videos and videos from live performances. A limited edition of the album with the entire Red Rocks concert on the DVD is available on the Goo Goo Dolls website. The Goo Goo Dolls are an American rock band based in Buffalo, New York, composed of lead vocalist and guitarist John Rzeznik, bassist and vocalist Robby Takac, as well as several rotating members since its formation in 1986. After starting off as a cover band and then developing a punk sound, Goo Goo Dolls experienced mainstream success following the 1995 release of their breakthrough single, "Name". The band is renowned for their 1998 single, " Iris", which spent 11 consecutive months on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and peaked atop the Hot 100 Airplay chart for 18 weeks. Lime Spiders were an Australian punk rock band which formed in 1979 with Mick Blood on lead vocals. He was later joined by Richard Lawson on drums, and David Sparks on guitar. Their debut studio album, '' The Cave Comes Alive!'' was released in June 1987 and reached the top 60 on the Kent Music Report Albums Chart. The Damned are an English rock band formed in London in 1976 by lead vocalist Dave Vanian, guitarist Brian James, bassist (and later guitarist) Captain Sensible and drummer Rat Scabies. They were the first punk band from the United Kingdom to release a single, " New Rose" (1976), release a studio album, '' Damned Damned Damned'' (1977) and tour the United States. ''The Black Album'' is the fourth studio album by the English punk rock band the Damned, and the first to feature Paul Gray on bass guitar. The Soft Boys
The Soft Boys were an English rock band led by guitarist Robyn Hitchcock. The band formed in 1976 in Cambridge, England and released two albums before disbanding in 1981. The Plimsouls were an American rock band known for their hit 1982 single "A Million Miles Away", which was featured in the movie '' Valley Girl''.
