Croatia was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song "", written by Dado Topić, and performed by the band Dragonfly featuring Dado Topić. The Croatian participating broadcaster, (HRT), organised the national final ''Dora 2007'' to select its entry for the contest. Thirty-two entries competed in the national final which consisted of three shows: two semi-finals and a final. Eight entries qualified from each semi-final on 1 and 2 March 2007 to compete in the final on 3 March 2007. In the final, "" performed by Dragonfly featuring Dado Topić was selected as the winner following the combination of votes from a five-member jury panel and a public televote. Croatia competed in the semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 10 May 2007. Feminnem
Feminnem is a girl group from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina composed of three members. They represented both countries at the Eurovision Song Contest; Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2005 (with original members Ivana Marić, Neda Parmać and Pamela Ramljak) and Croatia in 2010 (when the group consisted of Nika Antolos, Parmać and Ramljak). On 21 February 2012, Pamela, Neda and Nika decided to start solo careers and leave Feminnem and effectively disbanded the group. They were named after American rapper Eminem. Sandra Bagarić (born 5 April 1974) is a Bosnian and Croatian opera singer and actress. She was born in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina where she attended the High School for Music. Kraljevi ulice is a Croatian band founded by Miran Hadži Veljković and Zlatko Petrović Pajo. The band's name translates as "Kings of the Street". They were established in 1987 and subsequently developed public acknowledgement for their open air performances on Zagreb squares. They were chosen to represent Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade, Serbia. Kemal Monteno
Kemal Monteno (17 September 1948 – 21 January 2015) was a Bosnian recording artist and singer-songwriter whose career stretched from the 1960s to the 2010s. He is widely considered one of the greatest songwriters of the former Yugoslavia. Monteno wrote songs for other performers as well, most notably Zdravko Čolić, Toše Proeski, and the rock band Indexi. Early life Monteno's father Osvaldo was an Italian from Monfalcone. During World War II, he was drafted and deployed to occupied Yugoslavia in 1945 where he met a Bosniak woman named Bahrija in Sarajevo and fell in love. Tonči Huljić (; born 29 October 1961) is a Croatian musician, songwriter and music producer. He is best known as the founding member, songwriter and producer of one the most famous Croatian pop music, pop bands, Magazin. Jelena Rozga (born 23 August 1977) is a Croatian pop, folk, and electropop singer. Born and raised in Split, Croatia, Rozga was a ballet dancer as a child. Ivana Radovniković (; born 15 December 1985 in Zadar, Croatia) is a Croatian pop singer. Family life Radovniković is the daughter of Albert, a tennis trainer and physical education professor, and mother Ozana, a professor. She has younger sister called Antonia. Ibrahim "Ibrica" Jusić (born 15 December 1944) is a Croatian chanson, folk, pop and sevdalinka singer-songwriter and musician. Early life and career beginnings Ibrica Jusić was born as Ibrahim Jusić in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik into a family with seven children. Antonija Šola
Antonija Šola (; born 5 June 1979) is a Croatian musician, singer-songwriter, lyricist, actress and music producer. She is known for playing a main role of " Tina Bauer-Fijan" in first Croatian soap opera Zabranjena ljubav (2004–2008). Anja Šovagović-Despot
Anja Šovagović-Despot (born 25 March 1963) is a Croatian film and stage actress. Early life and career Šovagović-Despot was born to the family of Fabijan Šovagović, one of the most respected Croatian actors, and Maja Blaškov. Same as her younger brother, Filip Šovagović, Filip, she pursued the acting career from an early age. After high school she enrolled in the Academy of Dramatic Art, University of Zagreb, Zagreb Academy of Dramatic Art. Marko Tomasović (composer)
Marko Tomasović (born 18 May 1976) is a Croatian composer and songwriter. He has composed and written more than 300 songs. His work has covered various genres. Marko is a member of Croatian Composers' Society, and he was listed as one of the 10 most performed authors in Croatia in 2004. Early life and career He was born on 18 May 1976 in Zagreb, Croatia where he lived most of his life. He grew up listening to artists like Roxette, Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi, Scorpions and Cher.
