Vivant Denon
Dominique Vivant, Baron Denon (; 4 January 1747 – 27 April 1825) was a French artist, writer, diplomat, author, and archaeologist. Denon was a diplomat for France under Louis XV and Louis XVI. He was appointed as the first Director of the Louvre museum by Napoleon after the Egyptian campaign of 1798–1801, and is commemorated in the Denon Wing of the modern museum and in the Dominique-Vivant Denon Research Center. His two-volume ''Voyage dans la basse et la haute Egypte'' ("Journey in Lower and Upper Egypt"), 1802, was foundational for modern Egyptology. Birth and name Vivant Denon was born in Givry, near Chalon-sur-Saône to a family called "de Non", of the "petite noblesse" or gentry, and until the French Revolution signed himself as "le chevalier de Non". Like many of the nobility, he revised his surname at the Revolution to lose the "nobiliary particle" "de". Pierre Abel Clarin Vivant
Abel Clarin de la Rive (pseudonym of Pierre Abel Clarin Vivant, Chalon-sur-Saône, France, 1855 – Chalon-sur-Saône 1914) was a French historian, essayist, journalist, and anti-Masonic writer. Biography Early years Pierre Abel Clarin Vivant was born in 1855 in Chalon-sur-Saône in a Catholic family. He attended a high school of the Dominican Order and, despite his young age, participated in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870 after joining the Army of the East of general Charles-Denis Bourbaki. After the war, he continued his military career in French Algeria, where he developed an interest in Islam; some even believed he had become a Muslim, although he denied it. Reportedly, his knowledge of Islam caught the attention of the French secret services, who asked him to travel throughout North Africa, dressed as a native and using the pseudonym of Shaykh Sihabil Klarin M’ta El Chott, and report to them. Arturo Vivante
Arturo Vivante (October 17, 1923 in Rome – April 1, 2008 in Wellfleet, Massachusetts) was an Italian American fiction writer. He was the son of Elena (née de Bosis), a painter, and Leone Vivante, a philosopher. The family fled to England in 1938, anticipating the war and the fascist government's anti-Semitic policies (Leone was Jewish). The British sent Arturo to an internment camp in Canada while his family remained in England for the duration of the war. He graduated from McGill University in 1944 and received his medical degree at University of Rome in 1949. He practiced medicine in Rome until 1958, but thereafter moved to New York to pursue writing full-time. He married Nancy Adair Bradish (died 5 July 2002) in 1958. Vivant is a small social-liberal political party in Belgium founded by millionaire Roland Duchâtelet. In the regional elections in June 2004, the party formed a strategic alliance with the Flemish Liberals and Democrats (VLD). Both parties are founded on the principle of individualism and can be called liberal. In 2007, the party announced it would likely merge with the VLD. Vivant is economically interventionist, advocating a basic income guarantee for all citizens. Vivant considers the basic income as an inalienable part of the legal minimum wage (approximately half of it for full-time employment). In order to tax goods more evenly, wherever they are manufactured in order to respond to automatisation, globalization and an ageing population, Vivant proposes to shift taxes from labour to final consumption. Vivante Corporation was a fabless semiconductor company headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, with an R&D center in Shanghai, China. The company was founded in 2004 as GiQuila and focused on the portable gaming market. The company's first product was a DirectX-compatible graphics processing unit (GPU) capable of playing PC games. Amel Bent Bachir (; born 21 June 1985), better known by her stage name Amel Bent (), is a French pop singer who gained fame after reaching the semi-finals of season 2 of French TV singing competition ''Nouvelle Star''. She is best-selling artist to come from that competition. From 2018 to 2019, Bent was a coach on '' The Voice Kids France''. She was also a coach on '' The Voice France'' from 2020 to 2023. Vivant (Japanese Drama)
''Vivant'' (ヴィヴァン, stylized as VIVANT) is a TBS drama that started airing on 16 July 2023, starring Masato Sakai. The screenplay was written by Katsuo Fukuzawa, who is also the director. Fukuzawa was also director of ''Hanzawa Naoki'' and '' Black Forceps''. The storyline was not revealed until the first episode aired. By air time, the cast also was still being revealed. The drama has as co-stars Hiroshi Abe, Fumi Nikaido, Tori Matsuzaka, and Koji Yakusho. Additional cast members include Kento Hayashi, Ryo Ryusei, Rin Takanashi and Rei Dan. Romanée-Saint-Vivant is an ''Appellation d'origine contrôlée'' (AOC) and Grand cru (wine), Grand Cru vineyard for red wine in the Côte de Nuits subregion of Burgundy wine, Burgundy, with Pinot noir as the main grape variety. It is situated within the commune of Vosne-Romanée. La Romanée borders on La Grande Rue in the south, Romanée-Conti and Richebourg AOC, Richebourg in the west, Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru vineyards in the north (Les Suchots) and in the east (La Croix-Rameau and Les Gaudichots) and also the village Vosne-Romanée itself in the east.
