Victoria Williams (born December 23, 1958) is an American singer, songwriter and musician, originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, United States, although she has resided in Southern California throughout her musical career. Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the early 1990s, Williams was the catalyst for the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund. Biography Williams was born in Shreveport, Louisiana. In 1986, she worked with then-husband Peter Case on his debut album, following a year later with her own debut, ''Happy Come Home'', produced by Anton Fier, with an accompanying 28 minute documentary by D. A. Pennebaker. In 1990, she released ''Swing the Statue''. She also often appeared onstage and on record with the band Giant Sand. In 1993, she acted in Gus Van Sant's '' Even Cowgirls Get the Blues'', who also made the video for "Tarbelly and Featherfoot". Victoria Williams (born 5 April 1990) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre back. She last played for Women's Super League club Brighton & Hove Albion. Born and raised in England, she is a member of the Jamaica women's national team. Victoria Kirstyn Williams (born 19 March 1971) is a Welsh politician who served as Minister for Education in the Welsh Government from 2016 to 2021. She was a Member of the Senedd (MS) from 1999 to 2021. She previously served as the Leader of the Welsh Liberal Democrats from December 2008 to May 2016 and subsequently from June 2017 to November 2017 in an acting capacity. Victoria McCloud is a British lawyer and former judge. A trans woman, McCloud was the youngest Master in the High Court of Justice when appointed in 2006 as a deputy and then as a full judge in 2010. McCloud is also a Chartered Psychologist and legal author. She retired from the bench in April 2024. Early life and education McCloud was born in Surrey, England on 13 October 1969. She was inspired become a lawyer, as a child, after watching the television series ''Crown Court.'' McCloud graduated from Christ Church, Oxford in 1990 with a degree in Experimental Psychology and obtained a doctorate in 1993 in human visual system science.
