Francesc Vicent
Francesc Vicent (1450 in Segorbe – c. 1512) was a Valencian author who wrote the first treatise about chess using the present-day moves for the queen (chess), queen and the bishop (chess), bishop. ''Libre dels jochs partits dels schacs en nombre de 100'' was printed in Valencia, Spain, Valencia on May 15, 1495, by Lope de Roca Alemany and Pere Trincher. No copy of this work has survived, though it is likely that some of its contents survive in translation (from Catalan language, Catalan to Spanish language, Castilian) in the ''Repetición de amores y arte de acedrex'' of Luis Ramírez de Lucena. Francesc Vicent Garcia
Francesc Vicent Garcia () i Ferrandis was an early modern Catalan poet known by the pseudonym of the ''Vallfogona Rector''. He was born in Zaragoza in 1579Although his father was born in Tortosa, in Catalonia. and died in Vallfogona de Riucorb (Conca de Barberà) in 1623. In 1605 he was ordained in Vic. Early life Vicent Garcia completed his religious studies in Barcelona. In Vic, where he was ordained, he was the secretary to Bishop Francis Robust. In 1607, Garcia was appointed to the Vallfogona Riucorb rectory, where he remained until 1621. This spell at Vallfogona was followed by appointment to the post of secretary of the Bishop of Girona, Peter Moncada. A year after taking up this post, Garcia obtained a doctorate in theology from the College of St. George and St. Matthias in Tortosa. Vallfogona Riucorb died on September 2, 1623. Josep Vicent is a Spanish conductor. Principal Conductor - Music Director with ADDA Simfònica of Spain. Artistic and General Director at ADDA Auditorium in Alicante, Valencian Community (Spain). Tania Vicent (born January 13, 1976, in Laval, Quebec) is a Canada at the 2006 Winter Olympics, Canadian short track speed skating, short track speed skater, who competed at the 2006 Winter Olympics. On February 22, along with Alanna Kraus, Anouk Leblanc-Boucher and Kalyna Roberge, Vicent won a silver medal for Canada in the 3000m relay. She won the bronze medal in Nagano and at Salt Lake City. She won her fourth consecutive Olympic 3,000 metre relay medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics, skating alongside Jessica Gregg, Kalyna Roberge and Marianne St-Gelais. Vicent Partal (; born 1960 in Bétera, Province of Valencia, Valencia) is a Spanish journalist and director of VilaWeb. He has also worked in El Temps, Diari de Barcelona, Televisión Española, TVE, Catalunya Ràdio, El Punt, and La Vanguardia, among others. He is considered an List of Internet pioneers, Internet pioneer. In 1994, he created the self-styled "first news Internet system in Catalonia" named ''El Temps Online''. In 1995, founded ''Partal, Maresma & Associats'', a company devoted to Internet Information technology consulting, Consulting and access. Vicent Peris
(1478–1522) (in Catalan; ) was a weaver and leader of the weavers' guild () in Valencia. He came to prominence as the most influential leader of the Council of Thirteen after the death of Joan Llorenç in the Revolt of the Brotherhoods. Peris saw the revolution as a wider social revolution against the nobility, and aggressively attacked them. He also legitimized the anti-Muslim stance of many rebels into the ''Germanies'' government, and intensified their repression. Leadership in the Revolt Peris was born in Segorbe. He was a member of the Council of Thirteen which came to contest the royal government's rule of Valencia in 1519. In 1520, the situation worsened with the appointment of Castilian Viceroy Diego Hurtado de Mendoza.
