Dino Risi
Dino Risi (23 December 1916 – 7 June 2008) was an Italian film director. With Mario Monicelli, Luigi Comencini, Nanni Loy, and Ettore Scola, he was one of the masters of ''commedia all'italiana''. Biography Risi was born in Milan. He had an uncle, Fernando Risi, a cinematographer, and a younger brother, Nelo Risi, Nelo (1920–2015), a director and writer. Francesco "Franco" Migliacci (; 28 October 1930 – 15 September 2023) was an Italian lyricist, producer, and actor. Biography Migliacci studied in Florence where his family had settled, here he entered in a competition for young players, in which he won a stay of three days to Cinecittà and a modest role in a film by Nino Taranto. After this, he moved to Rome and the world of cinema where he worked in small parts in about 18 films. Giulio Calì (26 March 1895 – 20 January 1967) was an Italian film actor. He appeared in more than 60 films between 1927 and 1966. Life and career Born in Rome, Calì started his career on stage, being mainly active in Romanesco dialect theater and in avanspettacolo. He made his film debut in 1927, in Umberto Paradisi's ''Un balilla del '48'', but his career ultimately started after the Second World War, when he was cast in a good number of films of different genres and quality, even if usually playing very minor roles. Calì is probably best known for his association with director Alberto Lattuada, who gave him his first significant roles, namely Smarazzacucco in '' The Mill on the Po'' (1949) and the sailor in ''The Overcoat'' (1952). Alessandro Fersen (5 December 1911 – 3 October 2001) was a Polish-born Italian dramatist, actor, theater director, author and drama teacher. Life He was born as Aleksander Fajrajzen in Łódź to a Jewish family, that moved to Genoa in 1913.
