Velodyne Lidar
Velodyne Lidar is a Silicon Valley–based lidar technology company headquartered in San Jose, California. It was spun off from Velodyne Acoustics in 2016. As of July 2020, the company had about 300 customers. Velodyne Lidar provides sensors for use in autonomous vehicles, advanced driver-assistance systems, mapping, robotics, infrastructure, and smart city applications. Edenvale is a neighborhood of San Jose, California, in South San Jose. History Edenvale was once a town, named with reference to the Garden of Eden, because of the beauty and fertility of the place. Subwoofer
A subwoofer (or sub) is a loudspeaker designed to reproduce low-pitched audio frequencies, known as bass and sub-bass, that are lower in frequency than those which can be (optimally) generated by a woofer. The typical frequency range that is covered by a subwoofer is about for consumer products, below for professional live sound, and below in THX-certified systems. Thus, one or more subwoofers are important for high-quality sound reproduction as they are responsible for the lowest two to three octaves of the ten octaves that are audible. Formula SAE is a student design competition organized by SAE International (previously known as the Society of Automotive Engineers, SAE). The competition was started in 1980 by the SAE student branch at the University of Texas at Austin after a prior asphalt racing competition proved to be unsustainable.
