Valenza
Valenza ( pms, Valensa) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about east of Turin and about north of Alessandria. History A stronghold of the Ligures, it was conquered by the Romans in the 2nd century BC, and became a forum as Forum Fulvii Valentinum, having law jurisdiction and a market. After the fall of the Western Roman Empire, most of the population moved from the hills of the previous settlement to live where the current town is. It was ravaged by the Burgundians and ruled by the Lombards. After the Frank conquest of northern Italy, it became part of the mark of Montferrat. Overshadowed by the power of the nearby Alessandria, it attracted the attentions of Galeazzo I Visconti, duke of Milan, but his plot to capture the city failed. Tasia Valenza (born April 5, 1967) is an American actress. Personal life Tasia Valenza is the daughter of former actor and restaurant consultant Frank Valenza and Gloria Valenza. Her twin brother is a former television writer and now solar marketing consultant Tor Alexander Valenza. She also has an older brother, Greg. Valenza has been married to Harvey Stern since 1995 and has three children. Personal life Tor Alexander Valenza was born in New York City, New York and is the son of former actor and restaurant consultant Frank Valenza and Gloria Valenza. His twin sister is actress Tasia Valenza. He also has an older brother, Greg. Career Tor Alexander Valenza is a solar marketing executive and past writer for several television series.
