Vadakkumnadhan
''Vadakkumnadhan'' ( Lord Shiva) is a 2006 Indian Malayalam-language psychological drama film directed by Shajoon Kariyal and written by Gireesh Puthenchery. It stars Mohanlal as Iringannoor Bharatha Pisharody, a university professor diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The film also features Padmapriya and Kavya Madhavan. The songs were composed by Raveendran, while Ouseppachan provided the background score. The film is an unusual love story, focusing on mental health and tolerance towards it in society. ''Vadakkumnadhan'', released on 19 May 2006, received wide critical acclaim. The film was a commercial success and one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of the year. Raveendran
Madhavan Raveendran (born Kulathupuzha, Kollam, 9 November 1943 – died Chennai, Tamil Nadu, 3 March 2005), also known as Raveendran Master, was a South Indian music composer and playback singer from Kerala. He composed songs for more than 150 films primarily for the Malayalam and Tamil film industries. He also composed a few albums, including ''Vasantha Geethangal'', ''Ponnonatharangini'' and ''Rithugeethangal''. Raveendran composed melodies based on Hindustani Ragas also. Shajoon Kariyal
Shajoon Kariyal is an Indian film director and producer working in Malayalam cinema. Life Shajoon started his film career in 1984, at the age of 21, as an assistant director to I. V. Sasi. He worked as the assistant or associate director to many films including ''Uyarangalil'' (1984), '' Anubandham'' (1985), '' Karimpinpoovinakkare'' (1985), '' Aavanazhi'' (1986), ''1921'' (1988), '' Douthyam'' (1989), ''Varthamana Kalam'' (1990), ''Arhatha'' (1990), ''Midhya'' (1991), '' Neelagiri'' (1991) and '' Varnapakittu'' (1997). Gireesh Puthenchery
Girish Puthenchery was a noted Malayalam lyricist, poet, scriptwriter and screenwriter, esteemed for his pivotal role as a lyricist in Malayalam cinema. He was often hailed as the aristocratic lyricist of Malayalam and was admired for his unique and distinctive writing style. He also served as the director of Indian Performance Rights Society's Malayalam division (I.P.R.S) and was a member of the governing councils of both Kerala Kalamandalam and the Kerala Lalithakala Academy. He made his debut with the film Enquiry in 1989 .He won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Lyricist seven times. He also holds the record for writing the highest number of songs in the Malayalam film industry in the shortest period of time. Rizabawa
Rizabawa (24 September 1966 – 13 September 2021) was an Indian actor who worked predominately in Malayalam films and television. His breakthrough role was as a villain in the 1990 film '' In Harihar Nagar''. Since then, he acted as villain in several films in 1990s. Biography Rizabawa started his career in theatre. Kaviyoor Ponnamma (10 September 1945 – 20 September 2024) was an Indian actress who appeared in Malayalam films and television. She began her career performing in theatre dramas before foraying into cinema. She also acted in TV serials and commercials and had playback singing credits in few films. Biju Menon (born 9 September 1967) is an Indian actor who predominantly appears in Malayalam films, and also has a few Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film credits. Padmapriya Janakiraman, better known mononymously as Padmapriya, is an Indian actress who mainly appears in Malayalam films. Padmapriya made her acting debut in the Telugu film '' Seenu Vasanthi Lakshmi'' in 2004.
