Ustedes Los Ricos
''Ustedes los ricos (You the Rich)'' is a 1948 Mexican film. The film is the second in a trilogy produced during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, starting with '' Nosotros los Pobres (We the Poor)'' earlier in 1948 and followed by '' Pepe the Bull (Pepe, el toro)'' in 1953. Ismael Rodríguez directed all three films, with Pedro Infante as Pepe the Bull and Evita Muñoz "Chachita" as his daughter Chachita, while Blanca Estela Pavón only appeared as Celia in the first two, as she died in a plane crash in 1949. Plot Pepe el Toro, a poor carpenter, almost gets hit by a car. He begins fighting with passenger that turns out to be Manuel de la Colina y Barcega, the real father of her adoptive daughter Chachita. Revealed that, he and his mother, Doña Charito goes to Pepe's neighborhood in order to talk with her and offer her a better life by taking her away from poverty. Ismael Rodríguez
Ismael Rodríguez (October 19, 1917 – August 7, 2004) was a Mexican film director. Rodríguez rose to fame due to the movies he directed starring Pedro Infante, and directed many major stars, including Dolores del Río, María Félix, Toshiro Mifune, Jorge Negrete, Sara García, Luis Aguilar, Tito Guízar, Gloria Marín, Carmelita González, Antonio Aguilar, Columba Domínguez and Flor Silvestre. He directed the film ''Ánimas Trujano (film), Ánimas Trujano'' (1961) for which he was nominated for an Academy Awards, Oscar for Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, Best Foreign Language Film. Rodríguez's most renowned international film is ''Tizoc (film), Tizoc'', in which Pedro Infante starred alongside María Félix. For this role, Infante won the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the 7th Berlin International Film Festival. He died on 7 August 2004 at the age of 87. Grace Kingsley
Grace Kingsley (August 10, 1873 – October 8, 1962) was the first motion-picture editor and columnist of the ''Los Angeles Times,'' beginning the position in 1914 and ending when she retired in 1933. Life Kingsley was born in Lansing, Michigan, August 10, 1873 and was brought to California by her parents when she was six years old. As an adult, she studied law and took classes in literature. She worked in a law office, and then at night she did drama reviews and features, first for a weekly publication, ''The Capitol'', and then for the '' Los Angeles Herald''. She began working for the Los Angeles City Schools as a secretary to three successive school superintendents. Her work attracted the attention of Harry Andrews, city editor of the ''Los Angeles Times,'' and he hired her to do special features.
