An unidentified flying object (UFO) is an object or phenomenon seen in the sky but not yet identified or explained. The term was coined when United States Air Force (USAF) investigations into flying saucers found too broad a range of shapes reported to consider them all saucers or discs. UFOs are also known as unidentified aerial phenomena or unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). UFO 1
''UFO 1'' is the debut studio album by British rock band UFO. It was first released in the UK by Beacon Records in October 1970. The first US release was on Rare Earth Records in April 1971. Neither of these releases charted, but the album did become a success in Germany and Japan. The album was reissued under the name ''Unidentified Flying Object'' with four of the five tracks from the band's second album. This reissue shows a photo of the band from the 1980s on the cover. The album was also reissued on the '' Flying: The Early Years 1970–1973'' compilation album of 2004, along with all the other recordings made by the band with their original guitarist, Mick Bolton. It was also given a straight reissue under the name ''All The Hits & More - The Early Days'' (XXX Media, Germany, 2011), with no additional tracks. Perrey And Kingsley
Perrey and Kingsley (known also as "Perrey & Kingsley" or "Perrey-Kingsley") was an electronic music duo made up of French composer Jean-Jacques Perrey and German-American composer Gershon Kingsley. The duo lasted from 1965 to 1967 and both are considered pioneers of electronic music. They released under Vanguard Records two studio albums ''The In Sound From Way Out!'' and ''Kaleidoscopic Vibrations''. They also were among the first musicians to incorporate the Moog synthesizer, prior to the successful 1968 release, ''Switched-On Bach'' by Wendy Carlos. ''Without a Net'' is a live album by American jazz saxophonist Wayne Shorter and his ‘Footprints’ Quartet: pianist Danilo Perez, bassist John Patitucci and drummer Brian Blade. The album was released on 5 February 2013 via Blue Note to critical acclaim. Background ''Without a Net'' was Shorter's first album for Blue Note Records in 43 years, after '' Odyssey of Iska'' (1971). The album contains six original compositions recorded on the quartet's European tour in late 2011, along with a version of "Pegasus", featuring Imani Winds, recorded at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Lisa Kindred (1940 – November 11, 2019) was an Americans, American folk music, folk and blues singing, singer. Kindred, born in 1940 in Buffalo, New York, was a figure in the Greenwich Village and Cambridge, Massachusetts folk scenes of the 1960s. She played with Bob Dylan, Dave Van Ronk and other legendary folk singers, and was mentored by guitarist and songwriter Fred Neil. A flying saucer, or flying disc, is a purported type of disc-shaped unidentified flying object (UFO).
