''Understanding What We've Grown to Be'' is the second studio album by American metalcore band We Came as Romans. It was released on September 13, 2011 through Equal Vision Records. It debuted and peaked at number 21 on the ''Billboard'' 200 the following week, as well as peaking at number 5, 7, and 10 on the Hard Rock, Independent, and Rock Album charts. The album's first single, "Mis//Understanding", was available for streaming prior to the album's release, and was released for digital download on July 5, 2011 along with the title track "Understanding What We've Grown to Be". On April 10, 2013, the album was reissued in a deluxe physical edition, featuring their three most recent singles "Hope", "The King of Silence", and "Let These Words Last Forever" as well as a DVD of tour footage, interviews and live performance segments. We Came as Romans (sometimes abbreviated as WCAR) is an American metalcore band from Troy, Michigan. Formed in 2005, the band has gone through one name change and multiple line-up changes, and signed to SharpTone Records in 2016 after having been on roster of Equal Vision Records since 2009. Close to Home was an American post-hardcore band from Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, that was formed in 2005. Noisecreep is a hard rock and heavy metal music news and media website based in the United States. The site was created by AOL Music in March 2009. Noisecreep was the fourth genre-specific music website owned by AOL after the rock music website Spinner, country music website TheBoot and hip hop music website TheBoomBox. Noisecreep is also part of AOL's MediaGlow publishing division which was created in January 2009.
