Una Canzone
"Una canzone" () is a song recorded by Italian singer Mina (Italian singer), Mina in collaboration with the band New Trolls. The song was written by the band members, the arrangement was made by Gianfranco Lombardi. The song was released as the lead single from the 1981 album ''Salomè (album), Salomè'', but the release was commercially unsuccessful, reaching only number 21 on the chart, which became Mina's lowest chart position of all time. The B-side was the song "Quando l'amore ti tocca", written by Ninni Carucci and Renato Di Bitonto. Both songs translated into French by Pierre Delanoë, respectively titled "C'est une chanson" and "Quand l'amour vous touche", were released in France as a single with the intention of including them in the new album completely in French, but the last project was almost immediately abandoned. Mina Anna Maria Mazzini (born 25 March 1940) or Mina Anna Quaini (for the Swiss civil registry), known mononymously as Mina, is an Italian-Swiss singer and actress. She was a staple of television variety shows and a dominant figure in Italian pop music from the 1960s to the mid-1970s, known for her three-octave vocal range, the agility of her soprano voice, and her image as an emancipated woman. In performance, Mina combined several modern styles with traditional Italian melodies and swing music, which made her the most versatile pop singer in Italian music. Mina dominated the country's charts for 15 years and reached an unsurpassed level of popularity. She has scored 79 albums and 71 singles on the Italian charts. "Buonanotte, buonanotte" () is a song by Italian singer Mina (Italian singer), Mina from her studio album ''Kyrie (song), Kyrie''. It was written by Fabio Massimo Cantini and Carla Vistarini, and arranged by Mina's seventeen-year-old son, Massimiliano Pani, for whom it was his recording debut. Released as a single from the album, it managed to reach number 9 on the chart, and stayed there for 16 weeks in total. The song "Capisco", used as a B-side, was also written and arranged by Pani. Pierre Delanoë
Pierre Delanoë (16 December 1918 – 27 December 2006), born Pierre Charles Marcel Napoléon Leroyer in Paris, France, was a French lyricist who wrote thousands of songs for dozens of singers, including Dalida, Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Petula Clark, Johnny Hallyday, Joe Dassin, Michel Sardou and Mireille Mathieu. Delanoë was his grandmother's maiden name. Career Following obtaining a law degree, Delanoë began a career as a tax collector, and later a tax inspector.
