Ukrainian State University Of Science And Technologies
The Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies () is a state-sponsored university created as an umbrella institution incorporating the Dnipro Institute of Infrastructure and Transport, the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine in 2021, later on the Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture and several other institutions of higher education of Dnipro. The new university combines multi-disciplinary institutes of education and research to conduct activities at various levels of higher education and fundamental and applied scientific research. The university has a developed infrastructure of educational, scientific and industrial divisions, promotes the dissemination of scientific knowledge and cultural and educational activities. The National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine (, NMetAU; formerly DMetI: Dnipropetrovsk Metallurgical Institute) is a state-sponsored university in Dnipro dedicated to the study of metallurgy. From 2021 part of Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies (in Dnipro) as an institute of studies and research. History National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine is the oldest higher metallurgical educational institution of Ukraine. It was founded as a factory department of the Ekaternoslav Higher Mining School in October 1899. In 1912, the department was transformed into the metallurgical faculty of the Mining Institute, which later became the Dnipro Metallurgical Institute in 1930.
