Ukrainian Cup
The Ukrainian Cup ( ) is an association football national knockout cup competition run by the Ukrainian Association of Football. The competition is conducted almost exclusively among professional clubs. Since the 2003–04 season, the Cup winner qualifies to play the Ukrainian Premier League winner for the Ukrainian Super Cup. Current format and eligibility criteria Qualification For the competition are eligible first teams of all Ukrainian professional clubs including the top tier, the Premier League, and lower tiers from the Professional Football League of Ukraine, Professional Football League, the First League (Persha) and the Second League (Druha). No reserve teams or second teams may enter the competition. An exception may be granted by the Ukrainian Association of Football if such team won the Ukrainian Amateur Cup or other qualification tournaments. 2024–25 Ukrainian Cup
The 2024–25 Ukrainian Cup is the 33rd annual season of Ukraine's Association football, football knockout competition. The competition started on 3 August 2024 and will be concluded on 14 May 2025 with the 2025 Ukrainian Cup final, final. Champions qualify for the First qualifying round 2025-26 UEFA Europa League. All competition rounds consisted of a single game with a home field advantage granted to a team from lower league. Draw for all the rounds was blind. Team allocation and schedule The competition includes all professional first teams from the 2024–25 Ukrainian Premier League, Premier League (16/16 teams of the league), 2024–25 Ukrainian First League, First League (18/18), 2024–25 Ukrainian Second League, Second League (13/20) and 2 best performer from the previous year's 2023–24 Ukrainian Amateur Cup, Amateur Cup. The Dnipro Arena () is a football stadium in Dnipro, Ukraine. It is used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 31,003 people. It replaced Dnipro's old Soviet Metalurh Stadium which existed since 1940. History The Dnipro-Arena staged the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying match between Ukraine and England as the Olimpiysky National Sports Complex in Kyiv was being rebuilt ready for UEFA Euro 2012. The Dnipro-Arena was chosen as a possible venue for UEFA Euro 2012 but was dropped from the list in May 2009. The capacity fell short of the minimum 33,000 seats required by UEFA. Olympiyskiy National Sports Complex
The Olympic Stadium (also known as Olimpiyskiy National Sports Complex; , ) is a multi-use sports and recreation facility in Kyiv, Ukraine, located on the slopes of the city's central Cherepanova Hora (Cherepanov Hill), Pecherskyi District. The Olympic National Sports Complex Stadium is the premier sports venue in Ukraine and the sixteenth largest such venue in Europe. Although it is often used by FC Dynamo Kyiv for football matches, it is technically not the football club's home stadium. Since May 2020, the stadium has also been used for the home matches of Shakhtar Donetsk due to the war in Donbas. FC Torpedo Zaporizhzhia is a former professional football team based in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. Football Club Skala 1911 Stryi () is a Ukrainian professional football team. The team is based in Stryi. The club traces its history to times of the Austria-Hungary just before the World War I, when in Stryi was formed the first Ukrainian football team as part of the local Sich sports society. The same society which contributed to formation of the Sich Riflemen. After the World War I, when territories of the Western Ukraine were part of the Second Polish Republic, Skala reappeared again competing at regional competitions.
