Uganda Manufacturers' Association
Uganda Manufacturers' Association (UMA), is an industry-association in Uganda, that aims to bring together Ugandan industrialists and manufacturers in an attempt to guide the industrial actors in the country towards global competitiveness, on a sustainable basis. The association advises the government of Uganda in the formulation of national and regional industrial policy. UMA also serves as a collective lobby and mouthpiece for its members. Location The headquarters of UMA are located at the Lugogo Show Grounds, in the Nakawa Division of Kampala, the capital and largest city in Uganda. Kampala
Kampala (, ) is the capital and largest city of Uganda. The city proper has a population of 1,680,000 and is divided into the five political divisions of Kampala Central Division, Kawempe Division, Makindye Division, Nakawa Division, and Rubaga Division. Madhvani Group
The Madhvani Group of Companies commonly referred to as the Madhvani Group, is one of the largest conglomerates in Uganda. The group has investments in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, the Middle East, India, and North America. History In 1912, Muljibhai Madhvani, then aged 18, arrived in Jinja following his older brother Nanjibhai. Kololo
Kololo is a hill in Kampala, the largest city and capital of Uganda. The name also applies to the upscale residential and commercial neighbourhood that sits on that hill. Location Kololo is close to the centre of Kampala, bordered by Naguru to the east, Bukoto to the north, Mulago to the north-west, Makerere to the west, Nakasero to the south-west, and Kibuli to the south. Lugogo is an area in the city of Kampala, Uganda's capital. Location Lugogo is on the eastern edge of the Kampala Central Division, one of the five administrative divisions of Kampala. It is bisected into north and south by the Kampala–Jinja Highway.
