UNIVAC (Universal Automatic Computer) was a line of electronic digital stored-program computers starting with the products of the Eckert–Mauchly Computer Corporation. Peter Altabef (born 1959) is an American businessman and lawyer. He is currently the Chair and former CEO of Unisys, positions he has held since 2018 and 2015, respectively. The Convergent Technologies Operating System, also known variously as CTOS, BTOS and STARSYS, is a discontinued modular, message-passing, multiprocess-based operating system. Overview CTOS had many innovative features for its time. System access was controlled with a user password and volume or disk passwords.
