The qualifying round was played at various times between May 1982 and December 1983, with some groups concluding earlier than others. 	Ian Stewart (Northern Ireland Footballer) Ian Edwin Stewart (born 10 September 1961) is a former footballer from Northern Ireland. Career He played as winger for Queens Park Rangers, Newcastle United, Portsmouth and Aldershot in the 1980s, as well as Colchester United in their Football Conference/FA Trophy double in the 1991-92 season, scoring several important goals during the Trophy success in particular. 	Bruno Pezzey Bruno Edmund Pezzey (3 February 1955 – 31 December 1994) was an Austrian professional footballer who played as a defender. Club career Regarded as one of Austria's greatest defenders of all time, Pezzey started his professional career at local side FC Vorarlberg and moved to FC Wacker Innsbruck after only one season, winning two league titles and a domestic cup. Igna played football at UTA Arad between 1957 and 1960 and 1964–1967 and at Știința Timișoara between 1961 and 1964, he became a referee in 1972.
