RideLondon Classique is a women's cycle stage race held in Essex and London as part of the UCI Women's World Tour. Part of the RideLondon cycling festival, the race was originally held as a one-day race in central London, and became a stage race in 2022 following the demise of the London–Surrey Classic. The UCI ProSeries is the second tier women's elite road cycling tour. It was inaugurated in 2020. The series is placed below the UCI Women's World Tour, but above the various 1.1/2.1 and 1.2/2.2 races. , the tour consists of 14 races in Europe and Australia, of which 13 are one-day races ( 1.Pro) and 1 is a stage race ( 2.Pro). Events The inaugural UCI ProSeries calendar consisted of 7 events, of which only 2 ran due the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021 the number of events expanded, but again the COVID-19 pandemic let to multiple cancellations, with only 6 events running. The Cyclists' Alliance or TCA is the labor organization representing professional cyclists in UCI Women's World Tour (UCIWWT) events. The organisation, which operates out of Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, is led by Executive Director Iris Slappendel.
