''Twilight of Love'' ( it, La notte dell'alta marea, also known as ''The Night of the High Tide'' and ''Lure of Love'') is a 1977 Italian romance film written and directed by Luigi Scattini. It is based on the novel ''Il corpo'' by Alfredo Todisco. it was one of the last times Steel would be top billed in a movie. Plot Richard, an elderly director of a Montreal advertising agency, met Dyanne, a young girl who appears to be a perfect model for the launch of a new perfume. During the stay on a beautiful deserted island, where they had gone to make the photo shoot, Richard falls in love with the girl. Luigi Scattini
Luigi Scattini (17 May 1927 – 12 July 2010) was an Italian film director and screenwriter. Scattini graduated in law, then he began his career as a journalist and a film critic for several weekly magazines such as ''Gente'' and '' Oggi''. In the 1960s he entered the cinema industry as a director of ephemeral films and mondo documentaries. He also directed several feature films, including the comedy '' War Italian Style'' with Buster Keaton. He was also active as a producer, a film editor and a dubbing director. He was the father of the actress Monica Scattini. Ugo Eugenio Prat, better known as Hugo Pratt (15 June 1927 – 20 August 1995), was an Italian comic book creator who was known for combining strong storytelling with extensive historical research on works such as '' Corto Maltese''. Gerardo Amato (born 15 October 1948) is an Italian actor and voice actor. Life and career Born Gerardo Placido in Ascoli Satriano, the brother of the actor and director Michele Placido, Gerardo Amato at a young age moved to Milan where he trained as an electrical engineer. He later worked on stage, generally cast in roles of seducers, with Giorgio Strehler, Enrico Maria Salerno, and Ernesto Calindri, among others. Alain Montpetit (September 24, 1950 – June 10, 1987) was a television and radio personality in Quebec, as well as an actor. Montpetit was a native of Westmount, where he was born and where he grew up. His grandfather was Édouard Montpetit, founder of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Montreal. He was the son of André Montpetit, a prominent labour lawyer, founding chair of the board of the Institut de recherches cliniques de Montréal and a judge of the Quebec Superior Court, chairing the Commission of Inquiry into Working Conditions in the Post Office 1966. Annie Brilland (born 10 December 1956) is a retired French actress and social worker. Her acting career began in 1974. Claude Fournier (filmmaker)
Claude Fournier (born July 23, 1931 in Waterloo, Quebec) is a Canadian film director, screenwriter, editor and cinematographer. He is one of the forerunners of the Cinema of Quebec. He is the twin brother of Guy Fournier. Career Claude Fournier began his career in journalism then moved to the Radio-Canada as a news cameraman. He joined the National Film Board of Canada in 1957 as a writer and director, and he worked on early cinéma-vérité films such as ''À Saint-Henri le cinq septembre'' and '' La lutte''.
