Turning Point (2023 Wrestling)
The 2023 Turning Point was the sixteenth professional wrestling event produced by Impact Wrestling. It took place on October 27, 2023 at Walker Activity Dome in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, and aired on Impact Plus on November 3. The event was a part of a four-day UK Invasion Tour, marking Impact Wrestling's return to the United Kingdom after nearly eight years. The event also featured wrestlers from Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro). Ten professional wrestling matches were contested at the event including two on the pre-show. In the main event, Will Ospreay defeated Eddie Edwards. In other prominent matches, Trinity defeated Deonna Purrazzo in a Last Chance match to retain the Knockouts World Championship, The Most Professional Wrestling Gods (Moose and Brian Myers) defeated Frankie Kazarian and Chris Sabin, and in the opening contest, Eric Young and Josh Alexander defeated Subculture (Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews). Impact Wrestling (stylized as ''IMPACT! Wrestling''), is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment. The Impact Knockouts World Championship is a women's professional wrestling world championship owned by Impact Wrestling. It is primarily contested for in Impact's women's division, known as the Impact Knockouts. The championship debuted on October 14, 2007 at the Bound for Glory pay-per-view (PPV) event under the name TNA Knockouts Championship until the promotion changed its name in March 2017, then added the world status in 2021. Mark Andrews (born 25 January 1992) is a Welsh professional wrestler and musician. He is most well known for his time in WWE where he performed on the NXT UK brand. Andrews was one of the first Welsh Champions in WWE history alongside tag team partner Flash Morgan Webster. He is also known for his time in impact Wrestling (TNA) under the ring name Mandrews. Subculture (sometimes stylized in all caps) is a Welsh professional wrestling stable consisting of Mark Andrews, Flash Morgan Webster and Dani Luna, which competes for Impact Wrestling in the United States, and various promotions in the United Kingdom such as One Pro Wrestling (1PW) and Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro). Joshua Harter (born February 4, 1982), better known by his ring name Chris Sabin, is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to Impact Wrestling, and is also known for his work in Ring of Honor.
