Tuen Mun South Station
Tuen Mun South is the future northern terminus of MTR's . It is to be constructed elevated across Wu King Road and Wu Chui Road in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong. The construction of the station is gazetted as part of the Tuen Mun South extension by the Hong Kong Government in January 2022. The station is expected to open for service in 2030. Tuen Mun District
The Tuen Mun District () is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong, administrative districts of Hong Kong. As of 2021, the population was 506,879, of which 64,000 were under the age of 18. Part of the district is the Tuen Mun New Town (or simply Tuen Mun), which contains one of the largest residential areas in the New Territories. Tuen Mun
Tuen Mun () or Castle Peak is an area near the mouth of Tuen Mun River and Castle Peak Bay in the New Territories, Hong Kong. It was one of the earliest settlements in what is now Hong Kong and can be dated to the Neolithic period. In the more recent past, it was home to many Tanka fishermen who gathered at Castle Peak Bay. Tuen Mun South Extension
The Tuen Mun South extension is a proposed extension of the MTR rapid transit network in Hong Kong. It extends the existing train service of Tuen Ma line to the tentatively named A16 station in Tuen Mun Area 16 and ultimately a new northern terminus, Tuen Mun South (), near Tuen Mun Ferry Pier. The extension will extend southwards from the current northern terminus, Tuen Mun station. The journey time from Tuen Mun South to Tuen Mun is estimated to be approximately 5 minutes. Wu Kai Sha Station
Wu Kai Sha is the northeastern terminus of the of the MTR rail transit system in Hong Kong. It is located between Sai Sha Road and Sha On Street in , also identified with Wu Kai Sha to its west and northwest, serving the many housing estates and schools nearby. History As part of the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation's Ma On Shan Rail plans, Lee On station was to be constructed on undeveloped land at the end of the railway reserve running through Sha Tin New Town. A16 (provisional name) is an MTR List of MTR stations, station on the Tuen Ma line to be constructed elevated on the bank of Tuen Mun River at the current site of in Tuen Mun Area 16.
