Trương Tấn Bửu (wikt:張, 張wikt:進, 進wikt:寶, 寶, 1752–1827), also called Trương Tấn Long (wikt:張, 張wikt:進, 進wikt:隆, 隆), was a general and official of the Nguyễn dynasty of Vietnam. He was born in 1752 in Thạch Phú Đông, Giồng Trôm District, Bến Tre Province. In 1797, he joined the army of Nguyễn Ánh and became a ''đốc chiêu cai cơ'' (''commander''). Later, he became the Deputy Marshal of the Nguyễn's Army's Front Division. In 1802, after the unification of Vietnam, he became the military commander of Nguyen's armies in northern Vietnam and later the Viceroy of Hanoi, Bắc Thành. In 1816, he became the Deputy Marshal of the Nguyễn Army's Central Division which guarding Huế, the capital of Nguyễn dynasty. Trương Như Tảng (14 November 1923 – 8 November 2005) was a South Vietnamese lawyer and politician. He was active in many anti-South Vietnam organizations before joining the newly created Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Vietnam as the Minister of Justice. He spent many years in the jungles near and in Cambodia until the Fall of Saigon in 1975. He quickly became disillusioned with the new government and escaped the reunited Socialist Republic of Vietnam via a boat in August 1978. Trương Tấn Sang (; born 21 January 1949) is a Vietnamese politician, who served as the eighth President of Vietnam from 2011 to 2016. He was one of Vietnam's top leaders, alongside prime minister Nguyễn Tấn Dũng and Party general secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng. Trương Gia Bình (born 1956 in Nghệ An Province) is a Vietnamese businessman. He is best known as the co-founder, chairman and CEO of the Vietnamese technology company FPT Corporation. Bình is also the vice president of The Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO), Chairman of Vietnam Software Association (VINASA). Trương Hòa Bình (; born 13 April 1955) is a Vietnamese politician and the former First Deputy Prime Minister of The Socialist Republic of Vietnam. He was previously considered to be one of the more promising members of the Vietnamese Government, having previously served as Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court of Vietnam from 2007 to 2016. Trương Đình Dzu (born Trường Đình Dũ, 10 November 1917 – ) was a South Vietnamese lawyer and politician who unsuccessfully ran as a candidate for the presidency in the 1967 elections against Nguyễn Văn Thiệu and his running mate Nguyễn Cao Kỳ, who were the leaders of the incumbent military junta. Dzu finished second in the election and won 17% of the vote on a platform of negotiating with the National Liberation Front for South Vietnam. Politicians advocating coexistence with the communists were not allowed to register; Dzu remained silent on his policies until his candidacy was registered. Dzu and other opposition candidates alleged electoral fraud after the poll, but he was arrested after the election on grounds of making illicit currency transactions and jailed by a military court for five years of hard labor. Trương Định (1820 – August 19, 1864), sometimes known as Trương Công Định, was a mandarin (bureaucrat), mandarin (scholar-official) in the Nguyễn dynasty of Vietnam under Emperor Tự Đức. He is best known for leading a guerrilla warfare, guerrilla army in southern Vietnam against Conquest of Cochinchina, French forces in defiance of the emperor. He refused to recognise the 1862 Treaty of Saigon (1862), Treaty of Saigon that ceded Vietnamese territory to France. The son of a military mandarin from central Vietnam, Định moved south when his father was posted to Gia Định as the provincial commander.
