''True Electric'' is the eleventh studio album by Norwegian electronic music duo Röyksopp, released on 11 April 2025, on the band's own label Dog Triumph. The album is a compilation of dance remixes of Röyksopp earlier tracks, which are studio versions of the tracks performed during their ''True Electric'' tour. On streaming platforms, ''True Electric'' was released in two versions, a mixed version and a standard with separate tracks. Background ''True Electric'' followed the earlier compilation of ambient versions of track from the ''Profound Mysteries'' trilogy (2022), the surprise-released album ''Nebulous Nights (An Ambient Excursion into Profound Mysteries)'', from December 2024. The album consists of nineteen studio versions of remixes played on the ''True Electric'' tour, and includes the previously unreleased track "The R", alongside newly reworked versions and remixes from the band's catalogue. Röyksopp
Röyksopp () a Norwegian electronic music duo from Tromsø formed in 1998. The duo consists of childhood friends Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland who formed Röyksopp during the Bergen Wave. After experimenting with different Electronic Music Genres, genres of electronic music, the band solidified their place in the electronica scene with their 2001 debut album, ''Melody A.M.'', released on the Wall of Sound (record label), Wall of Sound record label. VG-lista is the primary Norwegian record chart, charting albums and singles from Norwegian and international artists. It is presented weekly in the newspaper ''Verdens Gang, VG''. The data is collected by Nielsen SoundScan, Nielsen Soundscan International and based on the sales in approximately 100 shops in Norway. Karin Elisabeth Dreijer (born 7 April 1975) is a Swedish singer-songwriter and record producer. Dreijer was one half of the electronic music duo the Knife, formed with their brother Olof Dreijer. They released their debut solo album under the alias Fever Ray in January 2009. Their second studio album, '' Plunge'', under the same alias, was released in October 2017. Dreijer's vocal style is notable for both shrill and deep tones, and also the use of multitracked vocals with the use of pitch-shifting technology. The Irrepressibles is the creative guise of British musician Jamie McDermott (aka Jamie Irrepressible). History Formed in 2002, the Irrepressibles have released three full studio albums and six EPs.
