Troy is a city in Lincoln County, Montana, United States. The population was 797 at the 2020 United States census, 2020 census. It lies at the lowest elevation of any settlement in Montana. The town is on U.S. Route 2, near Montana Highway 56, in the Kootenay River, Kootenai River gorge by the Kootenai National Forest. Originally inhabited by the Kutenai, Salish peoples, Salish, and Piegan Blackfeet tribes, the area was settled by miners in the 1880s. Troy Public High School, also known as Troy Area Senior High School and Troy High School, is an historic, American high school building that is located in Troy, Bradford County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. History and architectural features This historic structure is a two-and-one-half-story, Colonial Revival-style building that is roughly "E-shaped and measures 435 feet wide and 165 feet deep. It has red brick exterior walls and the front facade features a central pilastered block of nine bays, with ten Doric order pilasters. The building is topped by an octagonal cupola. The original building was built between 1923 and 1924, and was then enlarged incrementally with wings on each end in 1936 and 1939, and, in 1954, with an enlarged gymnasium/library and new auditorium. Troy Christian High School is a private, Christian high school in Troy, Ohio. It is a part of Troy Christian Schools, which offers education from Pre-K through 12th grade. Their mascot is the Eagle and their colors are forest green and royal gold. Troy Christian Schools was founded in 1980 and remained a Pre-K through eighth grade program until 1996. A ninth grade class was added in 1996 in partnership with Dayton Christian Schools. An additional grade level was added each subsequent year.
