''Triplarina nowraensis'', commonly known as Nowra myrtle heath, is a species of flowering plant in the myrtle family, Myrtaceae and is endemic to a restricted area of New South Wales. The ''Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016'' (''BC Act'') is a state-based act of parliament in New South Wales (NSW). Nowra is a city in the South Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is located south-southwest of the state capital of Sydney (about as the crow flies). Anthony Russell Bean (born 1957) is an Australian botanist who works at the Queensland Herbarium and Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mount Coot-tha. Myrtaceae, the myrtle family, is a family of dicotyledonous plants placed within the order Myrtales.
