Trip To Tagaytay
''Trip to Tagaytay'' is a graphic novel written and illustrated by Filipino comic creator Arnold Arre. It was published by the author under his own Tala Comics Publishing in 2001, and subsequently won a Manila Critics Circle National Book Award in September 2002. ''Trip to Tagaytay'' is a 44-page short story in comics form, set in a future Philippines replete with flying cars and multimedia wrist-devices. In this vision of the future, popular actor Aga Muhlach is the aging President, the Eraserheads are on a Reunion Tour that spans the stars, and Philippine Spacelines is offering a 50% discount on Moon Travel. We follow the musings of a young man as he journeys through the city, headed for the Grand Liwayway Station, where he plans to take the cheapest train out, since they just opened the Tagaytay Ocean Tunnel connecting to Cebu. The Philippine National Book Awards, or simply the National Book Awards, is a Philippine literary award sponsored by and the Manila Critics' Circle (MCC) and the National Book Development Board (Philippines), National Book Development Board (NBDB). Eraserheads (sometimes stylized as ƎRASERHEADS or ƎRASƎRHƎADS) are a Filipino rock band formed in Quezon City in 1989. Tagaytay (), officially the City of Tagaytay (), is a component city in the province of Cavite, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 85,330 people. The Mythology Class
''The Mythology Class'' is a Philippine graphic novel written and illustrated by Arnold Arre. It was originally published by Arre in four issues in 1999, and was collected into a special edition by Adarna House in September 2005. The latest edition is a reprint of the special collected edition, published in November 2014 by Nautilus Comics. The original series won a Manila Critics Circle National Book Award on September 11, 2000, and is the first to win in the Comic Books category.
