Trip II The Moon
"Trip II the Moon" also known as "Trip II the Moon (Part 1)" is a 1992 single by breakbeat hardcore musician Acen Razvi. It went on to become his signature song and only British top 40 single, reaching No. 38 on UK Singles Chart on 8 August 1992. It is one of the tracks in Acen's series of "Trip II the Moon" singles series (others are Part 2 (The Darkside…) and Part 3), all using hip hop and spy film music samples. There is also another version named "Trip II the Moon (Parts 1 & 2)". Part 1 was released after Part 2. Both tracks appeared on '' The Pitchfork 500''. Part 1 is the lightest of all versions and is closest to happy hardcore (also using its imagery in its music video). Acen Razvi is an English breakbeat hardcore/techno music producer. Acen was known for tracks such as "Close Your Eyes", "Window in the Sky" and "Trip II the Moon" (the latter two both 1992). He worked for the Production House Records stable, which also brought fame to Baby D. He released the album ''75 Minutes''. He has also collaborated with Baby D's Floyd Dyce to form The House Crew. He is now a filmmaker, specialising in short films under the name Acen Films Limited to be shown at festivals. Besides producing dance music tracks, his aim is to fuse art forms and to introduce pioneering visual and musical perceptions to new audiences. Hardnoise
Hardnoise were an early British hip hop group. Hardnoise, along with early label-mates Hijack, was influential in establishing the UK hardcore sound. The group only released a handful of singles, before reforming with a changed membership as Son of Noise. Hardnoise Whilst they were still at school, DJ Son, DJ Nyce D (real name Denis Roberts) and TLP1 joined together to form Hardnoise, at that time little more than a group of friends. When in college, they were joined by DJ AJ and Gemini, and they recorded their first tune, an unreleased song called "Pure Destructive Power" (Unreleased). Catch 22 (band)
Catch 22 is an American ska punk band from East Brunswick Township, New Jersey. The band was formed in 1996 by guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Tomas Kalnoky, who left the band in 1998 and later formed Streetlight Manifesto. Founding members still in the band are vocalist/saxophonist Ryan Eldred, trumpeter Kevin Gunther and drummer Chris Greer. While largely inactive since 2012, the band performed at a spate of shows in 2015. Biography Catch 22 was formed by guitarist/vocalist Tomas Kalnoky and drummer Chris Greer who recruited trumpeter Kevin Gunther, who was working in a local record store. Bassist Josh Ansley, saxophonist Ryan Eldred, and trombonist James Egan, who was also Kevin Gunther's first music teacher, rounded out the original lineup. Adam Paul Tinley (born 4 December 1967), known professionally as Adamski, as well as Sonny Eriksson, is an English DJ, musician, singer and record producer, prominent at the time of acid house for his tracks "N-R-G (Adamski song), N-R-G" and "Killer (Adamski song), Killer", a collaboration with Seal (musician), Seal, which was a No. 1 song in the UK in 1990.
