''Trial at the Vatican'' (French: ''Procès au Vatican'') is a 1952 French biographical film, biographical drama film directed by André Haguet and starring France Descaut, Jean Debucourt, Suzanne Flon and Catherine Fonteney. The film is inspired by the life of the saint Thérèse of Lisieux. It was shot at the Billancourt Studios in Paris. The film's sets were designed by the art director Roland Quignon. It is also known by the alternative title ''The Miracle of Saint Therese''. Jean Meyer Barth (born February 8, 1942) is a French-Mexican historian and author, known for his writings on early 20th-century Mexican history. He has published extensively on the Mexican Revolution and Cristero War, the history of Nayarit, and on the caudillo Manuel Lozada. He is a faculty member at the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas, and a Guggenheim Fellow. Biography Jean Meyer was born in Nice.
