"Tranz" is a song by British virtual band Gorillaz. It was released on 14 September 2018 with a music video as the sixth and final single from their sixth studio album, ''The Now Now.'' On 28 September 2018, a remix of the song by British electronic musician Poté was released. The song charted at #16 on the Billboard (magazine), Billboard's Hot Rock Songs. Music video The music video begins with a neon title card that says "Gorillaz TRANZ" that lights up before going back to dark. The video then transitions to the band doing a performance of the song in a live setting with a psychedelic background featuring various patterns and shapes. It begins with a close up of 2-D's face that zooms out as the song begins to start. It then zooms out to the full band in the order of Russel, Noodle, and finally Ace all playing their respective instruments. Tranz Metro
Tranz Metro (formerly Cityrail and before that Cityline) was a New Zealand public transport operator. Beginning as the New Zealand Railways Corporation's Cityline division as a result of restructuring in the 1980s, in its final form Tranz Metro was the operator of Metlink's suburban trains owned by the Greater Wellington Regional Council in the Wellington Region of New Zealand. Since 3 July 2016, Wellington's commuter rail services have been operated by Transdev Wellington. History Suburban passenger rail services in Auckland and Wellington were a part of the New Zealand Railways Department, while bus services were owned either by city corporations or Railways Road Services. Tranz Rail, formally Tranz Rail Holdings Limited (New Zealand Rail Limited until 1995), was the main Rail transport in New Zealand, rail operator in New Zealand from 1991 until it was purchased by Toll Holdings in 2003. History The New Zealand railway network was initially built by Provinces of New Zealand, provincial governments, starting with the Ferrymead Railway in 1863. From 1880, a central Government department, the New Zealand Railways Department, was responsible for operating most of the growing railway network. ''Tranz Am'' is an action game, action video game developed and published by Ultimate Play the Game that was released for the ZX Spectrum in July 1983. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic version of the United States and centres around a racing car driver on his quest to obtain the Eight Great Cups of Ultimate, which are scattered throughout the country. The game was written by Chris Stamper and graphics were designed by Tim Stamper. ''Tranz Am'' was one of the very few Spectrum games also available in read-only memory, ROM format for use with the ZX Interface 2, Interface 2, allowing instant loading of the game (the normal method of cassette loading could take several minutes). The game received mostly positive reviews upon release: praise was given to the game's graphics and simple controls, while criticism was directed at its confusing interface.
