Tournée Do Adeus
''Tournée Do Adeus'' is the sixth and last live concert by Mexican pop band RBD. The DVD was filmed in São Paulo, Brazil on November 29, 2008 in front of more than 25,000 people as part of the group's last worldwide concert tour, the Gira Del Adiós. The DVD features the farewell concert of the Mexican group in Brazil, which was captured with high definition cameras, 5.1 digital surround sound, PCM 2.0 and included exclusive interviews with the artists. Though the DVD was released worldwide by the EMI label, Brazil was the first country to launch this product, on December 2, 2009. Background and release During RBD's last concert tour, titled Gira Del Adiós, the Mexican group held five concerts in Brazil, in partnership with Brazilian label Record Entretenimiento. Anhembi Convention Center
Anhembi Parque was a convention center located in Santana, a district of São Paulo, Brazil. At 400,000 square meters of indoor space and 93,000 meters of outdoor space, it was one of the largest event grounds in Latin America. The center was home to 20+ large annual fairs, each drawing in excess of 50,000 visitors, and hosts the annual Carnival of São Paulo. It was built in 1970 by the Companhia Brasileira Fichet & Schwartz Hautmont, under the engineer Raymond Faure and architect Jorge Wilheim. It was demolished in 2023. ''Live In Rio'' is the third live material by Mexican pop group RBD. The video was recorded on October 8, 2006, before an audience of 100,000 people at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on the group's Tour Brasil 2006. RBD made history in this concert by becoming the first Spanish language act to sell out the Maracanã, overshadowing in the process the turnouts for acts such as Luis Miguel or Guns N' Roses with 50.000. This particular concert also saw the first performance of "Ser O Parecer", RBD's lead single off of their then-upcoming third studio album, ''Celestial''.
