T-Ray Taegukgi Taegukgi (Tae-Won) is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character, created by Jed MacKay and Alessandro Vitti, first appeared in ''Taskmaster'' (vol. 3) #3 (February 2021). Taegukgi is a South Korean superhero and field leader of the Tiger Division, the country's superhuman response team, and is regarded as its greatest national hero.''Black Cat Annual'' (vol. 2) #1 Orphaned as a baby in 1950 during the Korean War, Tae-Won was adopted by a similarly orphaned young woman whom he saw as his ''ajumma''. The Hands Of Fate
''Manos: The Hands of Fate'' is a 1966 American independent horror film written, directed, and produced by Harold P. Warren. It stars Warren, Tom Neyman, John Reynolds, and Diane Mahree. The film follows a family getting lost during their vacation road trip through the Texas desert and becoming stranded at the lodge of a polygynous pagan cult led by the Master who decides their fate. Warren was an insurance and fertilizer salesman from El Paso, Texas, who made the film as a result of a bet with screenwriter Stirling Silliphant. Most of the remaining cast and crew had little or no background in filmmaking. The theatrical debut was poorly received, playing only at the Capri Theater in El Paso and some drive-ins around West Texas and New Mexico. ''Manos'' remained in obscurity until 1993, when it was featured in an episode of ''Mystery Science Theater 3000'', a television series based around mocking B movies. ''Mystery Science Theater 3000'' (abbreviated as ''MST3K'') is an American science fiction comedy television series created by Joel Hodgson. The show premiered on WUCW, KTMA-TV (now WUCW) in Saint Paul, Minnesota, on November 24, 1988. It then moved to nationwide broadcast, first on The Comedy Channel (American TV channel), The Comedy Channel for two seasons, then Comedy Central for five seasons until its cancellation in 1996. Thereafter, it was picked up by Syfy, The Sci-Fi Channel and aired for three more seasons until another cancellation in August 1999. A 60-episode Broadcast syndication, syndication package titled ''The Mystery Science Theater Hour'' was produced in 1993 and broadcast on Comedy Central and syndicated to TV stations in 1995.
