Torfinn Bjarkøy (27 July 1952 – 7 October 2022) was a Norwegian civil servant. He was born in Narvik. He served as the Norwegian Consumer Ombudsman from 1995 to 2000, having previously worked as a sub-director for the ombudsman from 1989. ( se, Áhkanjárga) is the third-largest municipality in Nordland county, Norway, by population. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Narvik. The Norwegian Consumer Ombudsman ( no, Forbrukerombudet) is a government-appointed ombudsman in Norway for consumer affairs. The office was established in 1973 with Inger Louise Valle as the first holder. The office of the consumer ombudsman sees to it that the marketing of goods and services is done in accordance with marketing law. Specifically, the office acts in the interests of consumers to seek to prevent market abuses in conflict with the provisions stipulated in or pursuant to the Norwegian Marketing Control Act. Gry Nergård (born 1 April 1966) is a Norwegian civil servant. She hails from Levanger and took the cand.jur. degree at the University of Oslo. After a stint as a clerk in the Ministry of the Environment she was hired in the Office of the Consumer Ombudsman in 1992. In 2010 she was appointed as the Norwegian Consumer Ombudsman. Kjersti Graver (8 October 1945 – 14 February 2009) was a Norwegian jurist. Personal life She was born in Oslo as the oldest child of Gerd and Odd Graver. She was a granddaughter of Torjus Graver and niece of Petter Graver. She was married to Supreme Court Justice Lars Oftedal Broch, grandson of Lars Oftedal. They resided at Jar. Bjørn Erik Thon (born 6 February 1964) is a Norwegian jurist and ombudsman. Career He graduated as cand.jur. in 1989. From 1999 to 2000, during the first cabinet Bondevik Thon worked as a political advisor in the Ministry of Justice and the Police.
