Top Rope Promotions
Top Rope Promotions (formerly known as Yankee Pro Wrestling and South Coast Championship Wrestling) is a North Eastern independent professional wrestling promotion based in New Bedford, Massachusetts and is the largest promotion in the Southern New England area rivaling other North Eastern promotions including Chaotic Wrestling, the Millennium Wrestling Federation and New England Championship Wrestling. Along with its former head trainer Matt Hyson (Professionally Known as Spike Dudley), their seminars have been hosted by Ring of Honor alumni Jamie Noble and A.J. Styles. A number of independent wrestling stars have competed in Top Rope Pro Wrestling during their careers including Amanda Storm, Andy Jaxx, D. C. New Bedford is a city in Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States. It is located on the Acushnet River in what is known as the South Coast region. Robert Paul Evans, Jr. (born September 3, 1972) is an American professional wrestler and trainer, best known for his work in Ring of Honor (ROH). He also wrestles for various independent circuits. Professional wrestling career Independent circuit (1991–present) In 1991, a year after graduating from Joseph Case High School in Swansea, Massachusetts, Evans debuted for Power League Wrestling. Alexander Paul Rizzo (January 12, 1968 – May 16, 2002) was an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name, Big Dick Dudley. Rizzo was best known for his appearances with the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based professional wrestling promotion Extreme Championship Wrestling from 1994 to 1999 as a member of The Dudley Brothers. Christopher Hamrick (born October 21, 1966) is an American professional wrestler. He is best known for his stint in ECW, though he is also known for his appearances in WWE, TNA and throughout the independent circuit. Professional wrestling career Early career Hamrick began watching wrestling as a child. He made his professional debut at the age of sixteen in a promotion operated by his father, facing Alvin Melton in Mooresboro, North Carolina. Brian Wohl (born April 14, 1972) is an American retired professional wrestler, better known for his ring name Julio Dinero. Professional wrestling career Wohl debuted in 1994 after training at the Baltimore Wrestling Factory under Axl Rotten and Hack Meyers. While wrestling on the independent circuit he worked as an accountant during the day. In the mid to late 1990s Wohl competed along the east coast in various indy promotions. Peter Joseph Polaco (born October 16, 1973) is an American professional wrestler. He is best known for his appearances with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) under the ring name Justin Credible.
