Too Scared To Scream
''Too Scared to Scream'' (also known as ''The Doorman'') is a 1984 American independent slasher film directed by Tony Lo Bianco. It stars Mike Connors (who also served as producer on the film), Anne Archer and Ian McShane, with a supporting cast of John Heard, Maureen O'Sullivan and Murray Hamilton. ''Too Scared to Scream'' was originally shot in 1981 and intended for a 1982 release, but was shelved due to the production company going out of business; it later premiered in 1984 and received a theatrical release in 1985. Premise An unknown assailant is killing the tenants of an exclusive, high-rise apartment building in New York City. The police suspect the doorman is involved and place an undercover police officer in the building to gather evidence on him. Tony Lo Bianco
Anthony LoBianco (October 19, 1936 – June 11, 2024) was an American actor. Born to first-generation Italian American parents in New York City, Lo Bianco began his career in theater, appearing in several Broadway productions throughout the 1960s. He transitioned to film in the 1970s, starring in the New Hollywood crime films '' The Honeymoon Killers'' (1970), '' The French Connection'' (1971), and '' The Seven-Ups'' (1973). He won an Obie Award for his 1975 role in an Off-Broadway production of ''Yanks-3, Detroit-0, Top of the Seventh'', and subsequently earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor for his role as Eddie in the 1983 Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's ''A View from the Bridge''. Sully Boyar
Irving "Sully" Boyar (December 14, 1923 – March 23, 2001) was an American character actor of stage, film, and television of Russian-Jewish descent. Early life and education Boyar was raised in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, one of seven children, some of whom grew up to become lawyers and businessmen. He worked as a lawyer before turning to acting classes. He had a twin brother named Samuel. Career Boyer began his career as a theater actor, with small parts offered by off-Broadway and experimental productions, including those at Judson Poets Theater. A life member of the Actors Studio, he worked with Al Pacino in ''Dog Day Afternoon'' (1975) as the bank manager Mulvaney.
